DYNASTY Gets Full Season Pickup
The CW’s reboot of the ’80s classic nighttime soap, DYNASTY, has been picked up for a full season. The sudser has received a 9-episode back order, bringing its freshman season to 22 in all. The series stars longtime soap vet Grant Show (ex-Jake, MELROSE PLACE et al) as Blake, Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon and Nathalie Kelley as Cristal, along with other soap vets, Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa, GH) as Claudia and Raphael de la Fuente (ex-Michael, EMPIRE) as Sammy Jo. “SO exciting!!! Thank you guys for watching, we’re over the moon!” tweeted Gillies of the news.
