DAYS Preview: Why You Should Be Watching
In the new issue of Digest, Executive Producer Ken Corday talks about the exciting things happening on DAYS. “NBC used to have a promo that said, ‘It’s getting good again, ’” notes Corday. “And it is. Tune in and watch.” As for Head Writer Ron Carlivati, Corday praises, “I love his ability to craft day-to-day, week-to-week stories with people from 10 or 20 years ago that are still vital. That’s the sign of a writer who is a strong head writer, as opposed to someone that wants to create a new canvas. I am thrilled with him and thrilled with his reboot of the show.” Carlivati teases what’s ahead next week on the soap, beginning with Sonny seeing Will. “Down in Memphis, when Sonny and Will are face to face, it’s the moment that the audience has been waiting for from the moment we dropped the possibility that might be alive,” shares Carlivati, who also talks about a major umbrella story centered around JJ.
