Hello and Good-bye: James Patrick Stuart (Valentin, l.) returns to GH; Lamon Archey (Eli) and Sal Stowers (Lani) leave DAYS.

Who’s Coming

Bold and Beautiful

Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy Forrester): The Forrester Creations jewelry line exec will be talking with Katie (Heather Tom) this week.

Melanie Reif (Guard Velez): With Luna (Lisa Yamada) meeting with Bill (Don Diamont) at the prison again this week, the guard will be keeping a careful watch. The actress has also appeared on shows like All Rise, CSI: Vegas and The L Word: Generation Q.

Christian Weissman (Remy Price):  Electra’s (Laneya Grace) tormentor is no longer a mystery and now he fights to keep her all to himself. Look for him to also square off with Will (Crew Morrow).

Days of our Lives

Shi Ne Nielsen (Amy Choi): It’s time to meet Sophia’s (Madelyn Kientz) mother and you can expect her to give Tate (Leo Howard) a rough time. She premiered in the role on Monday, sharing her first scenes with Ava (Tamara Braun). If the actress looks familiar, you may have seen her on Charmed, Grey’s Anatomy and MacGyver.

General Hospital

Cassandra James (Terry Randolph): The hospital’s co-chief of staff will be on hand as the fallout from the deaths of Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dex (Evan Hofer) continues.

James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine): The character was spotted in the cliffhanger this past Friday after last being seen on July 17, when Valentin took Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) on the run to escape authorities. (He did this after being encouraged to do so by Anna (Finola Hughes) to avoid taking the fall for Pikeman’s various criminal activities, since he was in charge of the enterprise at the time.) With a no-longer-in-a-coma Lulu (Alexa Havins) having reconnected with Charlotte, Valentin will have to figure out his next move.

Tomm Voss (Moravec): As the action continues to unfold in Prague, expect to see Voss in a short-term role. The actor has previously appeared on Seal Team and Rebel Moon.

Young and Restless

Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams) and Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti): Christine will be on this week, hoping to share a New Year’s Eve kiss with her ex-husband and current love, Danny.

Ray Wise (Ian Ward): The villain will be making a giant move this week, with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) experiencing breathing issues and collapsing in the “minister’s” arms outside of Society — and bringing him face to face with Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Get the scoop from Grimes here.

Colleen Zenk (Aunt Jordan): The other half of Genoa City’s dastardly duo will be up to no good as well this week.

Who’s Going

Lamon Archey (Eli Grant): Despite Paulina (Jackée Harry) trying to get Eli to rejoin the Salem Police Department, he has chosen to return to his job in D.C. with his family.

Zyair and Zamir Ashford (Carver Grant): With the family leaving town, the youngsters’ latest stint on the soap has wrapped up.

Sal Stowers (Lani Price Grant): Lani and the kids also returned to D.C. with Eli.

Dion and Raegen Yancy (Jules Grant): The twins have finished their latest stint on the Peacock soap.

Young and Restless

Telma Hopkins (Denise Tolliver): The private eye that Nate (Sean Dominic) hired to help find Amy’s (Valarie Pettiford) son and his half brother has completed her assignment.

In Memoriam

Geoffrey Deuel, who played Dave Campbell on and off Y&R from 1973 to 1977, passed away on December 22 in Largo, Florida. In addition to his work on the CBS soap, he was mostly known for appearing in the 1970 film Chisum, opposite legendary actor John Wayne, where he played Billy “The Kid” Bonney. He also appeared in plenty of episodes of prime-time, including turns on series like Mod Squad, The Monkees and Mannix. After his acting career wound down, Deadline noted that he turned to teaching. He later battled chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and died at the age of 81. Condolences to his widow, Jacqueline and his younger sister, Pamela. His actor brother, Peter Deuel, passed away on December 31, 1971.
