Bold and Beautiful Star Rebecca Budig Chats Live With Michael Fairman
On Tuesday, October 22 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, Bold and Beautiful’s Rebecca Budig (Taylor Hayes) will be chatting live with Michael Fairman on his YouTube channel. The actress recently took over the pivotal role after enjoying successful runs on other soaps, so they will have a lot to discuss.
A Walk Down Memory Lane
Daytime fans know Budig from her various other soap roles. She launched her daytime career as Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light (1996-1998), then moved on to playing Greenlee Smythe on All My Children (1999-2005; 2008-11) and Hayden Barnes on General Hospital (2015-17; 2019). In her conversation with Fairman, she will talk about her newest role as B&B’s Taylor recast, plus working with co-stars Thorsten Kaye (Ridge; ex-Zach, AMC), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), to name but a few.
The actress told Digest in late September of her new soap home, “It just feels so unbelievable here! The people are so kind and so nice and it has such a family feeling, and Brad [Bell, head writer/executive producer] couldn’t be more adorable or sweet.” She noted that when she first joined B&B. “Everyone was so warm and welcoming when I came in that it just felt so easy. They just all made it feel so seamless for me.”
Looking To The Future
On recent episodes of Bold and Beautiful, Taylor was diagnosed with “Broken Heart Syndrome” after believing she was dying of heart failure, setting the stage for drama to come. Ridge helped her out by hiring a woman to heal her in a spiritual way — a way that had Taylor and Ridge looking extremely close, which didn’t exactly sit well with Ridge’s forever love, Brooke.
