A Blast From the Past
The Bold and Beautiful spoilers preview for the week of June 16 kicks off with the sight of a familiar face that hasn’t been seen in years. Despite the fact that Ridge is back with Taylor, Brooke still considers the guy to be her “destiny” and continues to hold out hope that one day they will reunite and live happily ever after. However, those plans could be slightly derailed when she receives an unexpected visitor in the Forrester offices. “Nick!” Brooke exclaims, stunned to see her ex-husband back in town. Taking her in, Nick grins and declares: “Some things never change.”
It also sounds like news of Nick Marone’s return has spread quickly as Ridge grouses to Taylor. “I just don’t like the guy,” he complains. “I never will.” There was never any love lost between Ridge and his half-brother in the past, and their animosity was usually inflamed by their competition for Brooke’s heart. Ridge claims to be happy with Taylor, but might Nick’s resurfacing in Brooke’s life stir up old jealousies and resentments?
Dangerous Moves
For a change, Steffy and Finn are on the same page where their family is concerned. While Finn did feel compelled to try and get to know his mother, Sheila, against his wife’s objections, both of them are of the same mind about his daughter, Luna. And because Liam is also staying in their home as his health deteriorates, he’s equally as determined to protect his ex-wife and the kids from the potential threat. “He’s not even thinking about himself,” Steffy informs Taylor. “He’s thinking about keeping us safe.” Concerned, Taylor confirms: “From Luna.”
Someone is spying through the window at Steffy playing with Hayes inside their home, and it’s pretty likely to be Luna. She is bound and determined to be a part of her father’s life despite Steffy’s protestations, and seems willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen. “Hayes, right?” Luna says as she approaches Finn and Steffy’s son outside the house. “I have something for you.” She smiles like butter wouldn’t melt as Hayes eyes this stranger warily. Luna has made no secret of the fact that she wants to get Steffy out of the picture so she’ll have a clear shot at forging a father/daughter relationship with Finn, but how does Hayes factor into her devious plan?
