After the explosive events of Leslie blowing up Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party on Beyond the Gates by revealing his illegitimate daughter, the soap is unfortunately taking another couple of days off! Just as it was last week, BTG will be preempted on Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7, for the network’s coverage of UEFA Champions League Soccer.

This is the third sports-related network preemption for BTG since it premiered just over two months ago. In addition to last week’s interruption, fans were also left waiting for the action to resume when CBS’s coverage of March Madness sidelined its entire soap roster on March 20 and 21. However, just as with last week’s schedule change, the network will continue to air new episodes of the other two soaps in its daytime lineup, Young and Restless and Bold and Beautiful.

Because this is a full national preemption, there will be no episodes of BTG airing on either Tuesday or Wednesday in any time zone. This also means that there will be no new episodes on either CBS.com or Paramount+ to stream in the evenings on those days. The good news about this? The drama will pick up on Thursday, May 8, right where it left off at the end of Monday’s show. In that episode, Nicole tore into Ted for his lies and betrayal, the Dupree family closed ranks to put Leslie in her place, and Eva found herself without a family of her own.

Following Leslie’s big reveal that Eva is the result of her affair with Ted, the entire Dupree family has been shaken to its core. As Nicole reels from her husband’s betrayal and a desperate Eva finds herself turning to Ted, emotions are running high. Check out this preview for a sneak peek at some of the drama you can expect to see when BTG returns on Thursday with all-new episodes!
