Beyond the Gates Flashback Week Takes Fans Back to the Very Beginning With Its First Episodes
If you missed out on the first week of CBS’s new soap opera, Beyond the Gates, well, here’s your chance to catch it. And if you have been watching since its premiere on February 24, 2025, but want to relive the dramatic debut, now’s your chance, because CBS is planning to air the first five episodes of the sudser throughout the entirety of next week, beginning on Monday, June 30, and finishing on Friday, July 4.
Back to the Beginning
Set in a wealthy gated community just outside of Washington D.C., BTG centers around the Dupree family, headed up by patriarch Vernon (Clifton Davis) and matriarch Anita (Tamara Tunie). This powerful clan will do whatever it takes to protect its own, which is a good thing, because they always seem to be under attack and finding themselves caught up in no end of drama!
On Monday, June 30, viewers can enjoy the very first episode of BTG, where Dani (Karla Mosley) is stunned by news that her ex-husband, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) is getting remarried, and the Dupree family circles the wagons to offer their support. On her first day as a nurse at the local hospital, Ashley (Jen Jacob) is surprised by her boyfriend, Derek (Ben Gavin) and an old friend. Plus, Bill’s new fiancée, Hayley (Marquita Goings), receives a lavish gift — and a sobering dose of reality.
Then, in the second episode of BTG, airing on Tuesday, July 1, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and her husband, Ted (then-Maurice Johnson) welcome their nephew Andre (Sean Freeman) back to town, Bill demands a favor from Vernon, and Anita promises to do whatever it takes to protect her son, Martin (Brandon Claybon) from the dark secret in his past.

On Wednesday, July 2, the third episode will include Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) setting her vengeful plan in motion, Dani unleashing her fury on Bill, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) informing her sister, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) that she wants nothing more to do with their father, and Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) experiencing a mysterious encounter.
In the fourth episode, airing on Thursday, July 3, Chelsea’s modeling shoot takes an awkward turn, police detective Jacob (Jibre Hordges) announces his new partner, Dani and Andre find that they have common ground, and Nicole receives awful news.
Finally, on Friday, July 4, fans can relive the soap’s very first Friday cliffhanger as Eva (Ambyr Michelle) lands a life-changing new job, Tomas (Alex Alegria) expresses his interest in Kat (Colby Muhammad), and Dani offers Bill and Hayley a very unexpected gift as their wedding ceremony begins.
Following this week of flashbacks taking another look at how BTG began, the drama will pick back up on Monday, July 7, right where it left off at the end of the Friday, June 27, episode. And for a taste of some of what’s coming up, you can check out the new trailer below!
