B&B’s Sofer & Kanan Together Again
March, a 2001 thriller featuring B&B’s Rena Sofer and Sean Kanan (Quinn and Deacon), has just been re-mastered and is now available on Vimeo in honor of its 15th anniversary. “This was the first film I ever produced,” shares Kanan. “The director, the writer and I all grew up together in New Castle, PA, and smash-cut, we raised the money and our dream became a reality.” Sofer plays Kanan’s lover in the film. “I’m a huge fan of Rena’s,” he gushes. “It’s a very adult drama.” The flick also stars Michelle Phillips (ex-Anne, KNOTS LANDING), Angel Boris Reed (ex-Angel, GH), and is also the last film featuring the late Lana Clarkson. “Lana was a dear friend of mine and I’m happy for this opportunity to see her work get recognition. I think a lot of fans of B&B and GH would love to see Rena and me in something other than the soaps. I’m very proud of the film, and it still stands up.” To see the official trailer, click here.
