B&B Stars Naomi Matsuda (Li) and Romy Park (Poppy) Visit The Locher Room

B&B’s Naomi Matsuda (Li) and Romy Park (Poppy).
On Thursday, February 27, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT, Bold and Beautiful stars Naomi Matsuda (Dr. Li Finnegan) and Romy Park (Poppy Nowaza) join host Alan Locher for a lively chat on The Locher Room.
Twisted Sisters
These on-screen sisters have been at odds for months, going back to when Li accused Poppy of having an affair with her husband, Jack, and even believed that he was the father of her daughter, Luna. But just as things started to warm up, another bombshell was dropped: Poppy had a secret fling with Li’s adopted son, Finn, and he is the babydaddy!
Born in Nagasaki, Japan, Naomi Matsuda moved to San Diego when she was five and began training in traditional Japanese dance when she was seven years old. She expanded her dance training into jazz and ballet before transitioning into acting. Matsuda’s credits include The X-Files, Californication, New Girl, American Crime Story, The Rookie, and Bullet Train. She joined the cast of B&B in the summer of 2021, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination the following year for her portrayal of Finn’s adoptive mother, Dr. Li Finnegan. In her free time, Matsuda is a passionate animal rescue advocate.
Romy Park, a New Jersey native, trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She appeared in The Rookie: Feds and Ghost Whisperer prior to joining the cast of B&B in November 2023 as Poppy Nozawa, a free-spirited character with a mysterious past. A classically trained violinist and skilled hula hoop dancer, Park also co-hosted Romy and Dan’s High School Reunion Podcast with her good friend, Dan Feuerriegel (EJ, Days Of Our Lives).
Join Locher for this live chat with Matsuda and Park as he dives into their characters, their time on set, and what’s coming next on Bold and Beautiful.
