B&B Plays Ball
In the new issue of Digest, B&B’s Karla Mosley (Maya) and L.A. Dodger Kiké Hernández preview the September 12 episode, when Rick enlists the pro baseball player’s help in making his wife’s dream come true. When Mosley sang, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” at Dodger Stadium in June, the show recorded the event and wrote it into the show. “It’s something they’ve never done before, so it’s been really exciting and wonderful,” Mosley enthuses. Hernández truly enjoyed playing himself on his first daytime soap. “Since I was a little kid, I always said I wanted to be a baseball player and my plan B was to be an actor,” he says. “I wasn’t nervous, but there was a little pressure not to ruin their scene.” Read all the behind-the-scenes dish in the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, on sale now.
