At Worldwide, Lucinda kvetched to Dusty about running a halfway house for wayward moms Lily and Emily. Wayward Em freaked out until Dusty gave her a big ol’ pep talk about their impending meeting. (If they hook up, will she charge him for it?) Now under control, Emily worked her low-cut top and the gathered investors as she dubbed The Intruder a “cash cow” and said “there’s no better milk maid” to run it besides her. Dusty praised her
presentation but when Lucinda jokingly dissed it, a shaky Em fled. In the hall, Dusty told Emily that Lucinda wanted to give her a shot after all. Still insecure, Em turned down his offer of dinner and went off to turn tricks.

Craig reminisced about Katie writing letters to Santa but she wasn’t
thrilled with the stroll down Memory Lane. He asked all about her new
project, OAKDALE NOW. “It’s none of your business,” she snapped. When she praised his skills at wreaking havoc, big bro reminded the “adorable little moppet” of her failings. Then, he tried to mend fences. Katie wasn’t havin’ it and tried to shrug him off. After Henry stopped Craig from manhandling his sis, Craig noted Katie had Henry playing “absent hubby.” Henry stood up for his pal and Craig cautioned, “Easy, boy,” and reminded Katie that Mike isn’t coming back and she needs to stop pushing others away. Katie noted the similarities between herself and Craig and she and Henry toasted to becoming “wiser.”

At the shrink’s, Lily looked for her lost Faith and Jack came looking for
Parker. They realized their cousinly kidlets had run off and swapped stories. Also swapping stories were the kids, over fraps at Java. Later, Lily and Jack made frantic calls but still couldn’t find their AWOL adolescents. Why? Because they were in the woods, bonding in that “in-a-few-years-they’ll-be-GL’s-Jonathan-and-Tammy” kind of way. Then, psychic Paul
joined the party. “You’re weird!” decreed an unfriendly Faith. Fortunately, Paul agreed and pointed out that, technically, her aunt Meg had ruined his wedding. Paul helped them invent cover stories for themselves before he returned them to “civilization, such as it is.” No dummy, Jack asked for the real story and then lectured Parker. (Imagine your own dad’s reaction. That was Jack.) Those two hugged, but Faith and Lily ended on a less touchy-feely note.

Bitter Will ignored some calls from Gwen, who showed up at the OPD to catch up with Maddie and get the 411 on Casey’s shady dealings. As Casey explained his debts to his parents, Adam was at Chez Hughes planning to fly the coop. Maddie refused to believe Gwen’s theory that Casey framed Will and Elwood assured them, “I’m no thief!” Nearby, Tom blew a gasket when Casey talked about his poker predilection. Jade caught Adam trying to skip town and she accused him of setting up Will. “Prove it,” he sniped, before leering about the great sex they’d had. Jade pulled him in for a kiss, snagged his keys and threw them into the bushes. “Fetch!” she told the dirty dog. Back at the OPD, the bond befuddlement continued. “It just got out of control,” Casey understated. (Imagine your own parents’ reaction. That was Tom and Margo.) Tom described the severity of Casey’s charges and asked for the whole truth. Of course, he kept covering for no-good Adam. That’s when Will burst in to confront his best pal. Back at Chez Hughes, Adam was desperate to make his flight. He shoved Jade away and ran and Gwen followed him. Even under Will’s barrage of accusations, Casey kept quiet. Tom and Margo headed over to talk to the judge while Casey explained himself to Maddie. “I’m a sneak, I’m a thief, and I’m a lousy best friend!” he cried. Maddie pleaded with him to tell her what he’d refused to tell everyone else…as Gwen came face to face with Adam in the dark, creepy woods.
