Apprentice 3 Preview

Comments

It’s time once again (already!) for Manhattan, and the world, to be taken over by wildly enthusiastic and painfully fatigued APPRENTICE candidates. When NBC presents the third season of Donald Trump’s hit “It’s just business” reality series with a 90-minute premiere January 20, the “nothing personal” will likely end as soon as the first nerve-blasting boardroom convenes.

Meanwhile, the excitement will certainly start from minute one, as the newest twist does away with (at least outwardly) the controversial men vs. women battle. This time around, a “Street Smart” team takes on “Book Smart” college-degree holders. Will the candidates who wield B.A.s and master’s prevail over the people who depend on their experience and egos, or will Trump, as popular APPRENTICE 1 alum Troy says, view the degrees as “all B.S.”?

APPRENTICE 2 contestant John advises this season’s crowd and future contenders: “Keep your head about you, and look at it as a fun thing to do but not a career. Go on with your life…and keep your job.”

Here’s a look at the latest contestants, along with WEEKLY’s predictions for the all-important final four who will make it through a slew of “You’re fired!” assertions in the 16-week interview. Then check this space every Friday for the scoop on what (and who) went down during each Thursday night episode, plus the “showmances.” Tune in here on January 21 for our first update!APPRENTICE 3 CANDIDATES

Brian: He’s got the creativity and business acumen, having made a million from selling glow-in-the-dark necklaces.

Kendra: This entrepreneur and talk radio show host may prove to be one of the most resourceful and dedicated players.

Tara: Watch this one — her NYC know-how and heavy management experience should keep her on the successful side.
