2025 Bold and Beautiful Preview: Twists, Turns and A Big Challenge

(From l. to r.) Boardroom drama and romance for Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle), a different kind of prison for Luna (Lisa Yamada) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) face a challenge.
Bold and Beautiful has been going strong for 37 years and counting, and Executive Producer/Head Writer Bradley Bell previewed what viewers can expect on Bold and Beautiful in 2025 in a new interview with TV Insider. “There’s business, there’s romance, and we have a location shoot coming up,” revealed Bell, noting that the soap would be delivering its “best drama.”
Who’s the Boss?
Tops on that list will be the resolution of who’s in charge at Forrester Creations, the family fashion business that was hijacked away from Ridge and Steffy by Carter and Hope in 2024. “It will be a battle royale,” assured Bell, noting a “really dramatic” outcome in the first part of 2025. Zende will be heavily in the mix as he embraces stepping up as a designer, while battling feelings that he’s betraying Eric and Ridge. And while there will be plenty of romance for Carter and Hope throughout the story, the new couple “will be put to the test.”
Murielle Hilaire, who debuts as Daphne Rose on January 7, is set to play a prominent role in all of the above. Tasked with creating a Forrester fragrance, viewers will learn that the character is actually a plant by Steffy. “She’s going to use very interesting techniques,” said Bell. “Although she appears loyal to Carter, her ultimate goal is to get the company back in the family.”
With the Forrester takeover derailing Brooke and Ridge’s happy relationship, it’s opened the door for another go at the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle. Bell promised a “pretty spicy year” for the trio, incited by Brooke’s acceptance as new CEO of the company, which Ridge sees as a betrayal. “Taylor will agree [with that assessment]. So, we’re going to explore their relationship a bit further,” added Bell.
The soap’s young generation of stars – namely, Crew Morrow (Will), Laneya Grace (Electra), Lisa Yamada (Luna), and Christian Weissmann (Remy) – will be featured prominently, too. On the heels of AI/deep fake plot, Bell noted that “our younger characters are going to have a kind of a mystery story with some shocking twists.” As sparks fly between Will and Remy over Electra, look for the story to include Ivy and all the Logan women, particularly, Will’s mother, Katie.
On the Luna front, Bill, whose childhood was similar to that of the troubled young woman, feels compelled to help her. “We don’t know whether he’s being played or not,” teased Bell, adding that Luna’s reemergence will keep the Nozawa family front and center; both her mother, Poppy, and aunt, Li, will be in the story mix, and Ted King, Li’s ex, Jack, will be returning for “another chapter of the story with this family.”
As for the show’s other characters, Bell noted that Steffy and Finn would be facing a new challenge. “They’re as strong as a couple can be and we’ll see if they can weather the next storm,” said Bell. And there’s a story on the horizon for Sheila and Deacon and Scott Clifton, who’s been MIA as Liam, that’s “completely different” for all of them.
