Ray MacDonnell, who played the role of Dr. Joe Martin from the show's ABC premiere in 1970 until he retired in 2010 (and made two return visits in 2011), will be seen on the Prospect Park reboot.

Original AMC cast member Ray MacDonnell, who retired from the role of Dr. Joe Martin when the show relocated to Los Angeles in 2010, will reprise the part in March when Joe (and Lee Meriwether's Ruth) return home for a Martin family event.
