In response to the news that Y&R’s Mishael Morgan (Hilary) is leaving after contract talks reportedly broke down, some “Hevon” fans made a very public appeal to Sony, the parent company of the show, by renting a plane that flew over CBS Studio City in Los Angeles, Y&R’s home base, while pulling a banner that read, “SONY, PLEASE KEEP MISHAEL MORGAN ON Y&R.” The gesture was reminiscent of a similar stunt in 2011, when Daniel Goddard (Cane) fans protested his firing with the plane-tugging sign, “Y&R Fans Want Daniel Goddard as Cane Ashby”. The move worked for the actor, who was promptly reinstated.
