Holden and Lily prepared to take Luke and Noah home from the hospital and Lily wondered if Ameera and Col. Mayer arranged for the boys to be attacked.
(Has she been reading the ATWT message boards?) They questioned Ameera but she assured, "Those men would have hurt me, too." Ameera told Lily that Noah is the closest thing she has to a brother. (Hopefully not in the PASSIONS'
Chad/Whitney sense....) Once they got home, the whole gang gave Faith the after-school special recap of the attack. "They beat you up because you love one another?" Why, yes, Faith, they did. Lily told Holden that Bonnie still has feelings for him. Holden wondered if she thought this reunion wasn't going to last. Lily said she didn't want him punished for her hang-ups...and then Carly interrupted! Ameera told the Snyder sibs and Noah that her visa was expiring and she had to go back to Iraq. Faith suggested she get a "study visa" and go to school here. Lucinda being on the board of Oakdale U. would help! Lily told Carly that Dusty's death is keeping her from having sex with Holden. "He will give you all the time you need," assured Carly. As Parker emerged from the farmhouse, Kit lurked in the bushes. Parker got a creepy psychic feeling of being watched. Jack showed up and scared the crap out of Carly (LOL!). The family praised Faith's brilliance and the kids took Ameera on a hayride. Alone again, Holden told Lily she could have as much time as she needed (Carly was right!) and they hugged.
At the Lakeview, Ali came looking for Matt, but Casey hadn't seen him. She then noted that Matt gets "all weird" around a guy they keep running into (meaning Gray). Matt made silly excuses for his absence...but he couldn't make an excuse for the WOAK logo accidentally stenciled on his butt. Alone, he asked Casey if Ali was "into me." Casey, meanwhile, was tired of lying to everyone about Matt being his prison buddy. Matt didn't want to blow his shot with Alison, and Casey pointed out Ali had come clean about her past. Casey just didn't feel right about all the lying. Of course, Margo walked up! Matt made up a story about convincing Casey to go back to college. "That was really low," Casey growled at his pal. Meanwhile, Ali caught up with Susan and learned that Brad was attacked at WOAK. When Matt appeared to ask Ali out, her spidey senses went haywire.
Bonnie stumbled upon an unconscious Brad at WOAK as Matt lurked nearby, while Kit realized she'd clocked the wrong blonde. Carly found Katie and freaked! Jack rushed in to help Carly as Bonnie called 911 for Brad. Jack carried Katie out and Brad was taken to Memorial...where Bonnie caught up with Holden. Holden told Bonnie that he and Lily were trying again, and she gave him a hug. Of course Lily saw it. With everybody converging at the hospital, Katie eventually ended up in Brad's room. Cue snarking...and marveling that both of them got whacked on the head. Jack told Margo he suspected Kit clobbered Katie but Margo noted they had no "credible evidence." Margo then caught up with her sister and wondered what was with the twofer in the head injury department. Later, Brad and Katie nearly had a heart-to-heart about making love but his dizzy spell broke the moment. Jack brought Katie home, apologizing for losing all her money, and she squeezed his hand. Meanwhile, Brad and Bonnie ended up at Yo's, where he totally flouted doctors' advice by downing scotches after a head injury. Bonnie called Brad on being on the rebound, and he dished it back about Holden. Jack filled Katie in on his and Carly's plan to clear Parker and told her he still cares about her. He felt guilty about pulling her into his life, so she said she'd stay as far away as possible. Elsewhere, Brad was tired of being the consolation prize. "So am I!" declared Bonnie, asserting that she wouldn't go out with Brad until he was over Katie. What did Brad do? Visit Katie! Cue the two-sides-of-the-door device, where they looked at the wood longingly as Katie made him leave. Back home in Milltown, Margo told Jack and Carly she'd put a car outside to watch the house, and they realized Kit would never show up again. "What if we lose our son?" Carly bemoaned.

Alison asked Gwen and Will to check into Matt enrolling at Oakdale U.
"Something about the guy doesn't feel right," she told the wide awake new parents. In Old Town, Matt and Casey discussed that very college lie. Matt was sick of Casey's "spoiled, immature attitude." Ali really liked Matt, but given her track record, she really wanted her friends' help. Matt envied Casey's opportunities and urged him to sign up for class and make Margo happy. Alison, Will, Gwen, and Hallie all went over to the Registrar's office so they could start teaching Hallie snooping skills early! Ali distracted Casey and Matt, but the gang narrowly got caught. Hallie just hung out adorably in Gwen's arms while excuses were exchanged. Later, Gwen theorized Casey knew Matt from prison. Back at the Lakeview, Casey's educational adviser (yes, Matt) praised his course choices and then Alison showed up to ask if Matt was Casey's prison buddy. Matt himself copped to being cell mates. The direct approach was smart: Ali decided to keep their date.
Sofie popped by Memorial, where Paul was ready to be sprung. "I can heal just fine at home," he said, saying he'd hired a private nurse. "Not on my watch!" sniped Chris. Elsewhere, Meg told Emma she'd joined a private nursing service. Her first assignment? Paul. Duh. Paul was determined to leave, so Chris had him sign a waiver. As Sofie offered to pick up Paul's prescription, Emma prescribed Meg a butt-kicking. Mom and daughter went 10 rounds about her nursing Paul. A jealous and wary Chris told Sofie she wasn't equipped to care for Paul. "You have no right to order me around," she snapped. Paul echoed the sentiment. At Fairwinds, Sofie helped Paul off with his shirt so his burn wouldn't chafe — and Meg appeared! (If the bomb was ignition based, how did only Paul's shoulder burn? Beats us!) Paul told Meg he was glad she was there, she mooned over his wounds with her bare, ungloved hands...and Sofie watched. After groping and risking infecting Paul, Meg ran off, unable to do her job. Nurse Sofie to the rescue! "I love her so much that it scares her," sighed Paul of Meg. Chris walked in on Sofie helping Paul. Yes, the Green Eyed Monster was with him. Alone, Sofie told Paul she was grateful for Chris' support but, "He's a friend...and so are you." Shaken Meg ended up crying in Emma's arms about seeing Paul hurt. She admitted Sofie had helped her walk away. No dummy, Emma wondered if Meg was jealous. Meg scoffed, claiming Sofie was young enough to be Paul's daughter. (LOL! WHAT?!) Sofie busted out the Robert Louis Stevenson and read to Paul. When she curled up to nap, Paul called Gwen and asked her to visit.
Concussed Katie awoke in her suite to Brad's insistent knocks. "It's about Henry and it's an emergency," he told her. Emergency or no, he couldn't help but admire her hot pink lingerie. "Can I rub your...temples?" he wondered, before telling her they had to fix Henry and Vienna's relationship. "Henry, like everyone else on this planet, is on his own!" bitter Katie declared. In the Lakeview restaurant, Henry drowned his sorrows in food and Brad advised him to mend fences with Vienna. "Someone's gotta believe in true love around here!" insisted Brad. Well, right now that wasn't Henry. As his ginormous food order arrived, the Lakeview waiter wanted Henry to pay his hotel bill or clear out. Matchmaker Brad tried to get through to Vienna. He told her about setting up Kit. Vienna was horrified to realize she'd abused Henry's trust and slept with Gray. Brad smirked victoriously as Gray tried to convince Vienna to stick with him and failed. Henry hauled his stuff down to the Lakeview lobby. Luckily, Katie said he could crash with her. "I'll get the martini kit!" he beamed. Brad escorted Vienna to their suite, saying, "Go get 'em, tiger!" Too bad she found the suite empty. Aw! She tearfully told Brad that "Henry's flown the coop," and returned to Gray. Brad hightailed it up to Katie's room to confront Henry. "You really blew it this time, Coleman!" Brad and Katie urged Henry to call Vienna, but he busted out the single malt scotch instead. "The course of true love never did run..." Brad began, but then just grabbed the bottle and swigged! Yes, Brad quoted Shakespeare, but that was the least of Katie's worries....

Jack visited Carly with coffee, noting that "time is running out." A hopeless Parker arrived, too. He wasn't quite havin' his parents attempts to cheer him up, not even a trip to spring training. "Giving a condemned man his last wish," he snarked. Carly encouraged the trip and Jack said Margo had approved the 24 hour trip out of state. Alone, Carly received an urgent call from Kit, asking her to meet at the Chicago Loop Scenic Shop on Midwood Street (FYI, ATWT's studio is in the Midwood section of Brooklyn...) to talk about Sam's real killer. Sans cops, of course. In the car, Parker noted his mom's penchant for finding trouble. Jack urged him to focus on their Cubs-Diamondbacks tickets ("Go Cubbies!"). Carly plotted, ditched her police guard, and drove to Chi-town as Parker apologized to Jack for trying to handle Sam on his own. "Chill out," Jack told his felonious stepson, who didn't have a good feeling about Carly. (Listen to the psychic!) Carly arrived at the creepy scene shop and her police tail called Jack to say she was gone. Jack snapped shut his phone and he and Parker ran to the rescue! Carly crept around the shop as Kit lurked behind her. Psychic Parker was *sure* something was wrong. Sure enough, stuff started to fall on Carly's head.
At Fairwinds, Sofie awoke as Paul tried to cover her with a blanket. They discussed Treasure Island not being as riveting as previously thought...and then Gwen showed up with baby Hallie. Paul's good intentions? Blew up in his face! Barbara came to see Paul at the hospital and freaked, realizing he'd checked out. Also freaking? Sofie, who hated the reminder she'd lost her baby. Gwen wasn't too happy with her brother-in-law either. (Sleepy Hallie had no opinion.) Paul brought up the babies he lost with Meg and Emily, and Gwen's own lost child, saying Sofie deserved their compassion.
Gwen walked out. Chris and Barbara went a round about Paul and Sofie. Later at Java, Hallie was wide awake (SO CUTE!) and Gwen told Will about Paul setting them up. Will wanted to let Paul have it. Hallie disapproved. As Will stormed off, Sofie arrived. Barbara blasted Paul for letting "the little Match Girl" take care of him and noted Sofie is a little young for him. (What IS it with Sofie's age this week? It's not like Roger Howarth is 80!) Barbara tended to Paul's burns, remembering going through the same thing. Will interrupted the tender (and very Oedipal) moment.
Sofie declined holding Hallie again and apologized to Gwen for Paul's presumption. When she slipped and called Hallie "my baby," she felt even worse. Luckily, Gwen is understanding. Will? Not so much. (Hide the mouthwash!) He lashed out at Paul for having no family loyalty. Gwen urged Sofie not to cut herself off from the people who care for her and asked Chris to watch out for her. Paul told Will he was being paranoid. Barbara tried to meddle and Will accused her of always taking Paul's side. Chris warned Sofie and told her all about Paul's part in Jen's baby switch secret. (Way to comfort her, baby Doc!) Back at Chez Munson, Gwen put Hallie down and called her a "miracle child." She tickled the wee one, musing about separating her from Sofie. Will overheard and wondered if Gwen was regretting keeping the baby. At Fairwinds, Sofie understood Paul had just tried to help her, but wondered, "Why do people say such horrible things about you?" He gave her a typically sardonic response and the puppy face that has felled many an Oakdale woman. Gwen admitted her doubts about breaking the connection between a mother and child, and Will told her not to listen to Paul. Sofie turned down the further adventures of Jim Hawkins to go out with Chris, but assured Paul that it wasn't serious. Gwen seriously wondered if giving up Hallie was the right thing for her, and Will wasn't pleased.

Worried Jack found Carly's house empty. He listened to Kit's phone message and bolted for Chicago. At the scenic shop, Carly ducked falling panels and then found Cowboy Jack mocking her. Parker interrupted Holden and Lily's flirting at the farm with his concerns (it must be genetic!). In Chicago, Carly circled the chatty dummy, crying out to Kit that she was a coward. A box promptly fell two inches from her. Jack arrived (that's a FAST hour and a half drive) and ran to her when she screamed. They conferred with a Chicago cop about Kit's felonious activities, but the cops found nothing. Carly and Jack were understandably bummed. Jack walked Carly to her car and then got in his own. Kit lurked in the shadows. Later, in Milltown, Jack urged Carly not to beat herself up for Kit giving them the slip. Parker showed up a few seconds later, wanting the 411. They admitted they hadn't caught Kit and Parker asked to stay at Carly's. In turn, Carly asked Jack to stay, too! It was a big ol' Snyder slumber party...and, yes, Carly and Jack DID sleep in the same bed, but Jack was on top of the covers, fully dressed. "You could take off your shoes!" Carly laughed. Jack held her close as they worried over Parker. But later, Carly awoke from a vivid nightmare about Kit and then found Parker downstairs in the living room...where Cowboy Jack had appeared! Gasp.
After comforting Parker (see above), Holden and Lily remembered Luke taking the rap for her when he thought she killed Julia. The duo discussed Julia and Dusty and then Holden went off to shower before dinner. Of course, he turned and found Lily in there with him. (No chance of an interruption in THERE.) Much soaping up and steaminess occurred (both metaphorically and literally) as Holden and Lily made love. Freshly showered and glowing, Lily told Holden that Parker had gone to see his parents. She'd made eggs, but Holden wasn't interested in food. As she sat on his lap to make out, they got a call about Ameera! Too bad Luke didn't pick up when a worried Holden dialed him. The kids soon appeared, freaked beyond belief (see below), and Holden boggled at them for running away from federal agents. "You just made it worse!" he gasped.
Matt primped for his date with Alison and Casey thanked him for coming clean with her. Ali then invited both boys to an Oakdale U. mixer at Yo's.
At the farm, Noah invited Ameera to the mixer. (Of course!) Luke didn't seem thrilled but everyone encouraged Ameera to go be social. Except Holden, who marveled, "Yo's? You're not 21!" (He's so smart). At Yo's, Ameera made one of her obligatory "In Iraq..." comparisons and a boy asked her to dance. She preferred dancing with Noah. Luke, again, looked like he feared Noah was returning to those girl-lovin' roots. Fortunately, Noah very homosexually decided to dance with Luke. Unfortunately, Ameera's partner was too handsy. Luke reminded a worried Noah that Ameera is smart and can hold her own. Nearby, Matt accused Ali of not wanting to be alone with him and she wondered why he landed in jail. After they both made excuses, Matt asked Ameera to dance with Casey. Noah's Ameera fixation encumbered Luke trying to mack on him. Much cute teasing occurred as Matt introduced Ali, Casey and Ameera. Not so cute? Casey trying to dance. (LOL.) Luke dragged Noah outside for an off-screen makeout session, assuring him Ameera was fine with "Maddie's Casey." Casey and Ameera awkwardly flirted, leaving Matt and Ali alone. Outside, talk of Ameera soon dwindled into scorching looks and a hand on a thigh. "Whenever you touch me, I get all tingly. Right now, I think it's my cell phone vibrating," Luke chuckled, ignoring the call. Moments later, two guys from Homeland Security interrupted, looking for Ameera (your recapper is too offended to be snarky). As Ameera and Casey bonded, the Homeland Security dudes interrupted them (it's a theme today) and one grabbed Ameera.
Casey slugged the rude Fed and got hauled to the Oakdale PD for his trouble. Ali dragged Matt to the station with her, officially ending their date, and Matt called Gray for a favor. Noah and Luke snuck Ameera out of Yo's and the offensive swapping of Homeland Security for Immigration continued as they were followed to the farm and Ameera was taken in for questioning.

Bright and early, Margo found an apologetic Casey at the OPD and blasted him for assaulting a fed. "I was out of control," he admitted. Luckily, Tom revealed the charges were dropped! "Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth," Tom advised. Back at Chez Hughes, blasé Matt assured Ali that everything would be fine. Ali realized that Matt and his special friend had pulled some strings. Matt claimed his contact was a "government guy." Ali and Matt went a few rounds and she, like your recapper, couldn't understand how an ex-con had government contacts. Casey's homecoming interrupted the argument. Alison told everybody Matt had sprung Casey...and that Matt had been in prison. Nice going, Ali! Matt, naturally, copped to all of this immediately. Margo didn't appreciate all the lying. She and Tom questioned Matt's high-powered connections and he trumped up excuses. She did appreciate the "honesty." Matt wasn't too happy with Ali and Casey. Ali dished it right back and then asked Tom if he bought Matt's story. Nope! "You are determined to blow this for me, aren't you?" Matt accused Ali, only piquing her suspicions more. Rattled Casey suggested Matt move out. Margo, now on Team Matt, asked him to sleep on that thought.
The Snyders and Noah visited Ameera at a random federal office, learning that hinky computer glitches had connected her to a known terrorist. Luckily, her background check was clean. (Gee, that makes them grabbing her rudely fine...NOT.) The federal guy said Ameera had to be deported since her visa expired. Holden was willing to sponsor her, but the rules were that she had to be sent back to reapply and that a sponsor could only be a "parent, a child or a spouse." They'd let her go to the farm for a few days and then send her back to Iraq. Ameera meekly let this discussion take place around her. At the farm, the Snyders sent Ameera upstairs so they could heroically decide how to help her without her input. Noah had the solution! He wanted to make up for Col. Homophobe's negligence by...marrying Ameera! Luke gave Noah the "What the HECK?!" look on behalf of us all and then asked, "Is this a marriage in name only or do you have other things in mind?" Noah denied having girl-lovin' intentions. An upset Luke pointed out his relationship with Maddie and Noah assured he's very, very gay now and the marriage would be sans sex. "Do you love me?" Luke plaintively asked. "I love you more than you'll ever know," Noah assured, as they shared one of their meaningful, chaste hugs. Then, they went in to tell Lily and Holden they'd decided Ameera's life for her. Holden and Lily agreed to help! (Who'dathunk Oakdale would be as patriarchal as Baghdad?) When Ameera came downstairs, Noah told her, "Luke and I have come to an important decision...you and I are going to get married." (Guess it's okay for men to run your life as long as they're cute and gay and not named Saddam!) "I can't ask you to do this," Ameera said, demurely (well, technically you didn't...) and thanked them for their Western benevolence before accepting Noah's proposal.
In Milltown, Jack and Carly realized that Kit had gotten Cowboy Jack out of Jack's trunk and set him up on the couch. Creepy! Carly wanted to make herself bait for Kit, but Jack wasn't quite so keen. When Parker came back in the room, they tried to snow him. He's not that dumb! Jack took him to school while Carly went to the supermarket. Maura West actually went "on location" to a strip mall as Jack called Carly to check in. But shame on Carly, she didn't put her shopping cart in a cart corral. Her punishment?
Cowboy Jack showing up in her car! G-Man Jack soon arrived to confer...and blast her police tail for sucking at his job. Jack called Margo to have the tail pulled off, but when he and Carly got home with their groceries, they realized Margo had done no such thing. How would they smoke out Kit now? No worries, Guys, Kit is still lurking around. Later, Carly let out a bloodcurdling scream and Jack rushed into the bathroom. Cowboy Jack was in the tub!
