Does any one else think that Victor's reaction to losing Sabrina is a little too much? They weren't together for years, what was it six months? It just doesn't make any sense. I am really having a hard time with this storyline. Victor Newman is a tough business man that has had his share of women and this is the one that breaks him. This is the one that makes him want to die, I just don't see it or get it.
I think Victor and Sabrina had a special bond. All they needed was each other. Sabrina I think was like an angel in Victor's eyes. He obviously wasn't expecting to ever fall in love with her, but when he did it brought him back to life again. I think it was a good choice for the writers to have him so paralyzed over her death, because #1.He wasn't expecting her death, and #2 his overwhelming pain signifies just how much he really loved her.

I just really don't agree. They weren't together long enough. You think his love for her was greater than any love he had for Nicki, Ashley or Hope? I truly don't think so.
I think part of the grief comes from the loss of a child. Victor has acknowledged he was not a great father to any of his kids, and this was his chance to make up for it. Also. Sabrina was killed, and taken from him. Her being gone was not from a marriage imploding or head games. It is over the top, I agree, but I think that is the angle they are going with it. I also think part of Victor's need for being alone has to do with what happend to Walter.

I mean how could they actually have him kill someone without him having to go to jail? I know Walter was a bad guy but still you don't go around killing people. I think the storm came and Victor had the opportunity to save him and he turned his back and feel guilty about that The whole thing of him having nothing to live for just doesn't make sense when he has so much. At least to me.
I don't think that Victor actually killed him, I think he has too much integrity for that, but I do agree that there is something there. You couple that with his loss, the way Nick and Victoria were treating him and Sabrina, and it all kind of adds up. I am going to let it play out and see what happens before I get too tweaked about it.

I am hoping that they make some excuse for his actions, like he went off his meds, or was taking the wrong prescription for his epileptic siezures, or something like that. Even if he doesn't love Nikki anymore, his judgement of her being responsible for Sabrina's death is too unreasonable. To make it look like Victor and Sabrina were some kind of soul mates is ridiculous. They had nothing in common except that they could both speak French..All this angst over his hot 30ish wife, that he had only known 6 months, just makes him look like a pathetic old man having a senior moment. MAN UP, VICTOR!!!
I think the loss of the baby had a lot to do with it too. I too think that this was a way for him to start over as a better father. When he was with Sabrina he did seem to shut the rest of his family out, and Adam seemed to take the place of Nick and Victoria. I think one thing we can all agree on is that we've had enough of him wanting to die. And Heather, what happened to your pair?

I think maybe the only difference with this one is she really won't be back so he can play more of his head games he does with all his women, so it would appear the the Great Victor Newman finally lost a battle, just not one you would expect.
