I thought the teacher scene was wierd too. But, she can connect with this guy because of who his mother was. Right now, she is feeling alone, and beaten down...so I think she is in character. Cole is off to the drug party dealing with his mommy issues.Remember, this is a teenage girl who's baby died, father kept her boyfriends mother-who everyone thought was dead-prisoner, who's doctor was in cahoots with said father to steal baby to give to dead mother to run away with, whos' doctor killed herself. She also has to deal with her body adjusting after giving birth to said 'dead' baby! And then she is the 'Starr' witness in a trial against said baby-stealing father, but is really a pawn for the DA, who is not coming across very sysmpathetic to Starr.So, im MY world...Starr can cry and whine a bit....it's OK

As far as the acting goes...I think Kristen Alderson is a fabulous actress.

I don't like the direction this story is going in...I wonder why they felt they had to bring Scott on as her teacher. I would rather had him just a guy who came to town because his mother died. If he is her teacher it makes the story line creepy. I love Scott and I loved him on General so I would hate for people to dislike him because of the storyline. Maybe have him leave the job or something than I would have no problem with him helping Starr.
