Greg Vaughan (Lucky)
Vaughan gave fans an update on Tyler Christopher’s (Nikolas) condition after the actor had to miss Super Soap due to his broken arm: “He’s doing very well. He had his surgery and it was successful. He wished he could be here, but unfortunately, things happen in life. We got his refrigerator full of food. Our execs, Jill [Farren Phelps, executive producer, and head writers] Bob [Guza, Jr.] and Chuck [Pratt, Jr.] all chipped in and bought him food from the grocery store. They really set him up. They took care of him.”

Vaughan proudly reported that he kept his 2005 New Year’s resolution: “My goal was to get in shape and I achieved that. I’ve worked out now 125 hours, so that was my goal and I’m still going strong.”

As for what he has on his TiVo, Vaughan exclaimed, “I TiVo my friends and people on our show. Tamara Braun [ex-Carly] came on FREDDIE, so I recorded that. She did a great job!”Natalia Livingston (Emily)
Livingston admits she’s sad to see Alicia Leigh Willis (soon-to-be ex-Courtney) leave GH, but she’s excited for her pal: “Alicia is such a great girl. She’s got such a happy personality. She’s cheerful and fun to be with and work with. It will be very sad to see her go. I keep telling her she’s going to be the next Jennifer Garner. They should put her on ALIAS. She can kick butt! I think she’ll do really well.”

Here’s some dish: Livingston has a celebrity crush: “I met Patrick Dempsey [Derek, GREY’S ANATOMY], who I’ve had a huge crush on since high school.”

Does Livingston want more heavy-duty drama to play? “My character has been through so much…. maybe they can give it another character [laughs]? Give me some happy, funny, light things.”Matt Marraccini (Jesse)
When asked if he’d like to see Jesse develop some family ties in P.C., Marraccini stated, “I think it would be cool to be Sonny’s kid [laughs]. They’ve hinted about his background a couple of times already, so hopefully we’ll see more of that.”

When asked what his GH audition was like, he said, “[Casting Director] Mark Teschner had told me on the first read that Kirsten [who portrayed his girlfriend on CLUBHOUSE] was playing Maxie, so from then on, it was very comfortable.”

Marraccini was proud to participate in a socially responsible storyline this year: “I think it’s great because it raises awareness. [Date rape] does happen, and if it helps someone be a little more cautious and careful while they’re out, it’s a great thing.”Laura Wright (Carly)

She had only been airing on GH for a few days, so Wright said she was touched when a fan gave her a T-shirt with her picture on it.

On the topic of the Emmys moving to L.A., East Coast transplant Wright said, “I’m excited that I don’t have to get on a plane and go back to New York. I just got here!”

Wright noted that she was 12 the first time she came to Walt Disney World with her parents, sister and cousins.

As for what advice her co-stars offered on attending her first Super Soap, Wright smiled, “They all said it was going to be crazy fun. I think it’s a great time. The autograph sessions were awesome, getting to hang out with the fans. My kids are loving it. But I did not like [The Twilight Zone] Tower of Terror at all!”Kelly Monaco (Sam)
Some fans were worried that, considering the busy year she had, Monaco would pass on this year’s Super Soap. “No way!” Monaco beamed. “Yeah, it has been busy and some people did say, ‘What? Are you crazy? Stay home and rest.’ ‘Rest? What’s that?’ Yeah, it’s busy, but I’ve got family here and we’re all just having a blast.”Kimberly McCullough (Robin)
McCullough called being back at GH, “The best of both worlds. I get to work with my old friends, and there’s a lot of new people, too.” But it doesn’t come without a price. “Steve calls me ‘Rusty’ all the time — ‘Rusty The Rookie.’ “

As for the first-ever Emmys held in Los Angeles, she noted, “I’m very excited. I’ve never been to the Kodak Theatre.”

Recalling her audition for GH, McCullough said, “I was 7 when I started the show, and when I auditioned, they wanted me to improv with Tristan [Rogers, ex-Robert] and Finola [Hughes, ex-Anna]. How many 7-year-olds improv? It was crazy. I was trying to get them to eat and I had fake teeth at the time. I had lost my two front teeth and one on the bottom, so I was trying to figure out how to get them to eat without actually eating myself because my teeth would fall out in the pizza and I was afraid I would lose the job. But I guess I figured out a way [laughs].”
