New Emmy System Revealed!
The 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards are going to look very different this year, and Soap Opera Uncensored's Nelson Branco has the scoop straight from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Some of the changes: There will no longer be a limit to how many actors from one show can submit their name for Emmy consideration in the pre-nomination round in a category. (Previously it was two per show.) Judging pre-nominees hopefuls will take place online and will have a new degree of anonymity. (Meaning actors can no longer just choose a name to vote for because they recognize it.) The top 10 pre-nominees from each category will be announced on March 2, 2012.
