Soap vet Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, AMC) joins the cast of DIRECTV's mixed martial arts drama, THE KINGDOM. Consuelos will guest star in a multi-episode arc as Sean Chapas, an ex-fighter and one of Alvey’s (Frank Grillo, ex-Hart, GL) oldest friends. Production for a season two order of 20 episodes commenced at the end of May 2015 in Los Angeles. Season two will premiere on DIRECTV in the Fall of 2015. The busy actor recently wrapped the comedy feature Nine Lives, starring Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner and Christopher Walken, set for release in spring of 2016.
