So far, I like James Franco's turn as the twisted tagger. He's the right balance of creepy & fascinating. It's just the story he's in that's a waste of the paper it's printed on. This "mystery" so far seems like it was written by 4th graders. Either that or the writers just plain don't give a rats' behind anymore whether or not we're offended by this dung they fling at us. C'mon people. Give us credit for some intelligence.

If this was Sonny's story, I'd buy the stupidity of the character, but it's Jason's story. Not Sonny's. Jason is not stupid. Neither are Sam or Spinelli. But, you wouldn't know it by the way they're acting as they try to figure out this thing with the photographs. He receives the pictures in the mail. Spinelli figures out it's a high end camera-professional grade. Then, they go to a gallery exhibit filled with photographs of crime scenes yet none of them can put the two pieces together?

Then, there's the "wave". This is not an ordinary wave. It's distinctively a parade float wave. Then, of course, out of the 3, only Jason was able to figure out that the bum & the "artist" were one & the same, even though the only difference between the 2 was a shave & some ratty clothes. If this is the best the writers can come up with for a big star, the show is doomed to walk the slow, "Guiding Light" death march & that is a waste of a very talented cast. No amount of celebrity stunt casting can fix bad writing or stupid, poorly thought out storyline.

Say that LJ. Everytime someone would stop and look at the pics of the dead bodies, I would literally scoot to the edge of my seat high on anticipation that someone, anyone who made contact with the infamous picture that was sent in the mail, would put two and two together. But no ......everything LJ said

The only thing I like about this storyline so far is I'm happy Kirsten Storms is getting major screen time with the big-time movie star.

...in her underwear! I was a little surprised The Fashionista was wearing Granny Pantie type underwear, but then I guess she gotta be covered for the sensors.

The storyline is amateurish. Why would Dante recognize the picture like Joey Limbo? He, Sonny and Jason left the crime scene before the body was posed.Wanted to smack Spinelli silly yesterday, he's starting to get on my nerves again. We just went through the whole Claudia thing, with Jason's gut telling him that Claudia was responsible for Michael's shooting and Spinelli even admitted to being a jerk about proclaiming her innocence. He then turns around and does the same thing with the wave pictures. Why would Franco has such a distinctive wave, if it wasn't a clue to be figured out? The Jackel will never be a good PI if he has no imagination and doesn't learn from his previous experiences. He needs a vacation for awhile.

I don't think Dante is recognizing the pic as the Limbo scene. He is recognizing it like he did with that graffiti he saw a few weeks ago that he can't remember where he saw it before.

FINALLY!! This Franco thing is finally moving along & it was actually interesting today. This little attempted seduction by Franco really has Jason stumped. He didn't see any of that coming. I actually enjoyed watching Franco toy with him when he realized Jason wasn't interested in playing games or anything else with Franco. It was fun. I really hope they leap for it with this character & make him a real nut job. I'd also like to see his obsession be more personal, but that would never happen. He acted almost like someone on their first date. I really hope they don't drop the ball with this. The dialogue was fantastic & both actors were really in it. Actually, I enjoyed most of the show today. The only part I didn't like was Sonny sabotaging Johnny & Olivia's date. Keep it up, GH!

Okay, I just watched it. My original take on it was all wrong I guess but OMG what an amazing interaction between Franco and Jason! Totally awesome, entertaining, mesmerizing, even breathtaking. What an outstanding performance those two gave together. Loved Franco's performance.....loved Jason's reactions to Franco. Just amazing. Keep stuff like that coming GH and I can ALMOST forgive you for Sonny's latest jackass moments.

Have to agree that this story line is finally taking off and is extremely interesting. Franco's portrayal of a total nut case is spot on and intriguing. It does feel like Franco is a lover/stalker with his talk of their being alike and the way he is so angry that Jason is not totally responding the way he wants. In any event, it's becoming the must watch storyline.

It was almost like he was swooning! Although I must say in all of James Franco's work, this is the most attractive I have ever seen him. He certainly adds to the show in my opinion. It is almost scary though that he is playing a psycho this well!

Now that we've been into this story for a while, I'm sad to say my opinion hasn't changed. The acting is fantastic, but the storyline stinks like rotten fish! It's Manny Ruiz redux. The same crap only this guy takes pictures. Manny had Sam tied to a chair with a bomb under it. Manny was obsessed with Jason & Sam was the bait he used. Almost exactly the same story with some creepy photographs thrown in probably as an afterthought when someone in the studio mentioned how familiar it all felt. As much as I'm enjoying Franco's terrific portrayal of this lunatic, the sooner the story is over, the better.

Good analysis! I don't remember much about the Manny Storyline - probably didn't like it and therefore didn't watch (much like now with Franco). I'm bored with it. I'm disgusted with it. I'm not watching it.

I loved the interaction between Franco & Sonny today. He may be a luny, but I cheered when Franco told Sonny that Jason is the killer & that Sonny sends Jason out into impossible situations while Sonny hides behind his bodyguards. Then, he called Sonny a coward. Finally, finally after all these years of men at least five inches taller & much more muscular (no disparaging Mo's hot bod) ultimately cowering in fear of the mighty Sonny Corinthos or running & hiding, someone stood up to him & called him what he is. Sonny's reaction proved even Sonny knows it's true.

On a brighter note, this interaction between them has me even more convinced Dante's under the wrong impression about who killed his beloved Lt. Poletti. Sonny was already a boss by the time this happened & we all know that's when Sonny stopped killing people, if he ever did. I think it was Dante's good friend Ronnie or Franco with Ronnie covering it up & convincing Dante it was Sonny. I just hope Dante figures out the truth before the gunplay.

I have to agree with you. I am not the biggest fan of GH, but today was awesome. I LOVED how Franco called Sonny a coward. It's about freaking time someone called Sonny out. He walks around town like he is so tough, but he makes Jason and his other goons do all of the dirty work. Jason should be in charge, not Sonny. I mean, watch Goodfellas...sometimes the head boss has to get his hands dirty, but Sonny never does. I know that Franco won't be around for too much longer, but I'm going to enjoy every minute that he's here.

Ha! Franco, Franco, Franco. I now have the utmost respect for you I so loved the way he toyed with Sonny And the facial expressions that went along with it was so dayum cool! That scene was a total rewind moment for me. If I was Sonny I would tuck my tail between my legs and waddle on off to deal with my "coffee bean" issues and leave Franco to Jason JMO

Awesome, totally awesome! Loved the clock ticking down in the background, loved Jason and Franco's scenes, loved Franco's soliloquy. Can't wait to see what happens next!I'm going to miss Franco when he leaves, both as an actor and as the character.

I'm going to miss him too! Love the end of Friday's show when Franco was doing his autobiography as the clock was ticking down to boom time. Also loved the way they blended in Jason and Dominic racing off to rescue their women. Good job PTB.

As a whole I enjoyed the Franco stroyline, even though there were some relaly slow parts with it. But once Franco got his feet solid, wowza! I am also sick of Sonny BLAMING Jason for this!! Uh Sonny get your head out of your butt and realize this is partly your fault!! Jason did the best he could with someone who so much of a psycho I think Alfred Hitchcock would have been inspired! Seriously, you look the fool when spewing your nonsense to Jason about his handling of Franco, and Franco really did put you in your place. You had the chance to "handle" him yourslef and didn't! Puh lease.
