DAYTIME EMMY NOMINEES ANNOUNCED!

The nominees for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced live today on CBS’s THE TALK. The big news on the list is Alison Sweeney, who received her first-ever nomination after 21 years of playing DAYS’s Sami. Here’s who else made the cut: OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTRESS: Peggy McCay (Caroline, DAYS), Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS), Gina Tognoni (Phyllis, Y&R), Maura West (Ava, GH) and Laura Wright (Carly, GH); OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR: Anthony Geary (Luke, GH), Christian J. LeBlanc (Michael, Y&R), Billy Miller (ex-Billy, Y&R; Jake, GH), and Jason Thompson (Patrick, GH); OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Linsey Godfrey (Caroline, B&B), Amelia Heinle (Victoria, Y&R), Elizabeth Hendrickson (ex-Chloe, Y&R), Finola Hughes (Anna, GH) and Lisa LoCicero (Olivia, GH); OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR: Scott Clifton (Liam, B&B), Chad Duell (Michael, GH), Kristoff St. John (Neil, Y&R) and Jacob Young (Rick, B&B); OUTSTANDING YOUNGER LEAD ACTRESS: Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki, GH), Camila Banus (ex-Gabi, DAYS), Hunter King (Summer, Y&R) and Haley Pullos (Molly, GH); and OUTSTANDING YOUNGER LEAD ACTOR Bryan Craig (Morgan, GH), Max Ehrich (Fen, Y&R), Tequan Richmond (T.J., GH) and Freddie Smith (Sonny, DAYS). The show will air on April 26 on the POP Network. Congratulations to all the nominees!
