Finola Hughes was born on October 29 in London, England.
Hughes made her film debut opposite John Travolta in the Sylvester Stallone-directed Staying Alive. When she first met close pal Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley, ALL MY CHILDREN), Ripa quoted her character’s dialogue to her.
She began her performance career as a dancer and originated the role of Victoria the White Cat in Cats.
Hughes won the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy in 1991.
Hughes is mother to three children: Dylan, Cash and Sadie.
