General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos: All the Lawyers and Federal Agents He’s Romanced

Hannah Scott (Lisa Vultaggio Jackson) was introduced in March 1999 as a damsel in distress that Sonny saved from a mugging on the docks. She looked like Brenda, Sonny's presumed-dead ex-fiancée, a fact that was not lost on Sonny. The next time they met, they struck up a conversation, and a mutual attraction seemed to develop. Little did Sonny know that Hannah was actually an undercover FBI agent, and the agency was counting on her resemblance to both Brenda and Sonny's late wife, Lily Rivera, to make getting close to him an easy task. Which it was — within months, they were lovers. Hannah developed genuine feelings for Sonny, compromising her investigation. Sonny was devastated when Jason and Carly came up with proof of Hannah's true identity, but he got his revenge by feeding her false information to pass along to the FBI. Eventually, he revealed to Hannah that he had knew the truth about her, and over her protests and declaration of love, Sonny ended things and tossed her out of his penthouse.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Sonny got acquainted when he tapped her to serve as his lawyer, and a mutual respect developed between them. So, too, did an emotional intimacy that took them both by surprise, in the tragic aftermath of a warehouse explosion that claimed the life of Alexis's sister, Kristina — for which Sonny had been the intended target. Sonny offered comfort to Alexis, and one fateful night, the pair slept together — which Carly caught on to. Though the duo was only intimate once, their night of passion resulted in a daughter, who she named in honor of Kristina.

In 2005, FBI Agent Reese Marshall (Kari Wuhrer) arrived in Port Charles to help track down Sonny's kidnapped daughter, Kristina. Federal prosecutor ohn Durant hoped that Reese might be able to get intel on Sonny in the process, aiding in his efforts to bring the mafioso to justice. As she worked the case, Reese found herself opening up to Sonny and developing feelings for him — and the feeling was mutual. When Sonny told her he wanted to explore a relationship, Reese delightedly agreed, and Sonny was even able to forgive Reese for hiding key details of her past from him — namely, that she had major personal history with Carly. Ultimately, though, Sonny dumped Reese after finding out that she'd had a secret one-night stand with his half brother, Ric.

Hard-driving federal prosecutor Claire Walsh (Dahlia Salem) came into Sonny's orbit in 2010. At the time, Sonny stood accused of murdering his wife, Claudia Zacchara, and Claire proved ruthless in her efforts to secure a conviction. Sonny beat that rap when Michael was exposed as the true killer, but Claire remained doggedly determined to send him to jail. But as circumstances kept bringing them together, Claire felt a pull to Sonny that she couldn't ignore, and they started sleeping together. Claire fell hard for the mobster, but a desire to protect her career — and his own unresolved feelings for Brenda Barrett, who had recently resurfaced in his life — prompted Sonny to call their situationship to a halt.

In 2017, Sonny's latest marriage to Carly had hit the skids following the tragic death of their son Morgan and scheming Nelle Benson's trickery — she led Carly to believe that she and Carly had slept together, sending Carly into ex-husband Jax's arms (and bed). He and Carly separated and decided to move forward with a divorce. One night, a glum Sonny struck up a conversation with a beautiful brunette stranger at The Haunted Star. One thing led to another, and Sonny ended up going g back to her room with her for a passionate encounter. This make things awkward when the woman, Martina Morales (Daya Vaidya) turned out to be the lawyer representing Carly in her divorce! Their short fling soon fizzled — as did Sonny and Carly's plans to divorce.
