In 1985, Max Dubujack (Daniel Pilon) and Siobhan Ryan (Marg Helgenberger) said, “I do” on Ryan's Hope. Max, a mobster, had once been the father-in-law of Siobhan's love Joe Novak and was responsible for Joe going into hiding, as Max had put out a hit on him. By the time Max married Siobhan, he appeared to have turned over a new moral leaf, but the union ended in divorce in 1987.

In 1988, Another World's Felicia Gallant (Linda Dano) and Mitch Blake (William Grey Espy) wed. The ceremony took place at a racetrack and was filmed at Belmont Park in New York. In attendance for the big day were Rachel, Mac, Cass, Lisa, Matthew, Amanda, Josie, Nicole and Sam. Sam served as the best man, with Mac escorting the bride down the aisle. Originally, they planned to wed alongside Cass and Nicole, but Nicole begged off at the last minute, convinced her family would ruin things. Felicia arranged for Nicole and Cass to watch the wedding from a private spot where no one would bother them. Felicia arrived for the ceremony in a car that belonged to her late friend Wallingford.

In 2001, Daytime Emmy-winning soap veteran Robin Strasser (l., with Juliet Mills as Tabitha Lenox) made her Passions debut as Hecuba. The actress had previously played Rachel Davis on Another World, Christina Karras on All My Children and Dorian Lord on One Life To Live. Hecuba was introduced as a childhood acquaintance of Tabitha, Harmony's ruling witch, who had kept her imprisoned in a cave for over 300 years. When Hecuba was freed, she emerged with powers of her own, and Kay Bennett sold her soul to her.

In 2003, Carly (Tamara Braun) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) first biological child together, son Morgan, was born on General Hospital ... after Sonny accidentally shot her in the head. Sonny had driven frantically through a storm to reach his pregnant wife, who had gone into labor. Alcazar, meanwhile, tried to assist Carly. When Sonny entered and heard Carly screaming and saw Alcazar, he fired his weapon, striking Alzacar, but he didn't realize that one of the shots he'd unloaded had struck Carly until she lost consciousness after successfully birthing Morgan.

In 2007, Farah Fath made her One Life To Live debut as Gigi Morasco. The actress joined the OLTL ranks after playing Mimi Lockhart on Days of Our Lives from 1999-2007. She remained with the show until its cancellation in 2012. The character of Gigi was introduced as a waitress at the Bon Jour Cafe in Paris, TX, where Viki had absconded to in order to escape the pressures of Llanview. It was subsequently revealed that Gigi shared a son, Shane, with Rex Balsom.
