In 1992, Kimberlin Brown (pictured with Peter Barton as Scott Grainger, the object of Sheila's obsession) ended her first Young and Restless run as Sheila Carter. The infamous villain had wreaked no small amount of havoc on Genoa City since her 1990 arrival, and Brown's exit was scripted via Sheila's presumed death in a fire. While her most frequent victim, Lauren Fenmore, breathed a sigh of relief, Sheila was very much alive and soon popped up on Y&R's sister show, Bold and Beautiful.

In 1993 on General Hospital, Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton) asked Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) to the senior prom. Brenda first wanted to make sure that Robin Scorpio, who had a crush on Jason, would be okay with her attending the dance with Jason. Opposite this, Jagger Cates and Karen Wexler also decided to go to prom together.

In 2004, Thorsten Kaye (now Ridge Forrester on Bold and Beautiful) made his All My Children debut as Zach Slater. He was introduced in Las Vegas, where he met the acquaintance of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), his future mother-in-law. Kaye had previously starred on One Life to Live as Patrick Thornhart and Port Charles as Ian Slater. After playing Zach, save for a few breaks, until the show went off the air in 2010, Kaye reprised the role of Zach on the short-lived online AMC reboot in 2013.
