In 1994, GH’s Maxie Jones (Robyn Richards, pictured with John J. York as Mac Scorpio and Kristina Wagner as Felicia Jones) was diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome. The little girl's failing health had led to her hospitalization, and Felicia was devastated to get the news that her daughter was suffering from a life-threatening illness. Maxie's diagnosis was a key turn in what would ultimately prove to be one of the show's most critically acclaimed and heartbreaking medical storylines — Maxie needing a heart transplant and receiving the organ that saved her life from her young cousin, BJ Jones, who was rendered brain-dead in a school bus accident.

In 2011, Days of Our Lives's Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne Johnson (Judi Evans) got engaged (again).
