In 1985, General Hospital supercouple Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) and Felicia Cummings (Kristina Wagner) made love for the first time. Frisco presented Felicia with flowers before climbing into bed alongside her and kissing her tenderly. "I have waited so long," he sighed. "I know," she smiled. "I love you so much." He assured her that he felt the same way and told her, "I can't get enough of you."

In 2003, As the World Turns's Jack Snyder (Michael Park) told his wife, Carly Tenney (Maura West), that he wanted a divorce. Prior to their marriage, Carly had fallen into bed with her ex, Mike Kasnoff, and when she learned she was pregnant, she wasn't sure who the father was, Jack or Mike. Jack struggled mightily with this when he found out and ultimately decided to call it quits on their union. Carly gave birth after the divorce went through, and the baby girl, Sage, did prove to be Jack's biological daughter. Carly and Jack soon remarried.

The circumstances of Scout's birth were quite dramatic, as Sam had been kidnapped late in her pregnancy by her presumed-dead, psychotic paternal aunt, Olivia Jerome. Olivia threw Sam off a bridge, and she nearly died before "Jason" came to her rescue and delivered their baby girl.

On Young and Restless in 2018, Nick reeled after Sharon (Sharon Case, r.) — over Phyllis's (Gina Tognoni) objections — told him the truth: Christian was not his biological son with the late Sage Warner, and had in fact been fathered by Adam Newman. Once the jig was up, Phyllis spilled the tale of how Chelsea had threatened her by claiming she would expose the truth to Nick, so she had enlisted Sharon to help her figure out if Chelsea was lying about Christian's paternity. Insisted Phyllis, "He is your son. And you are still his dad. Despite Sharon's sudden transformation into the woman who must speak the truth." Sharon then trailed Nick to the hospital, where he underwent another DNA test to confirm the women's story. When the results came in, Nick burst into tears. "It's definite," he sobbed. "I'm not his father."
