Also, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) comes across Jada (Elia Cantu) drowning her sorrows. Lastly, having heard the news that EJ has been shot, Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) can’t help but contemplate whether Rafe (Galen Gering) or Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) may have pulled the trigger. Rafe (Galen Gering) is looking awfully suspicious, which isn't a surprise. He has plenty of reason to have shot EJ. The man kept him prisoner and replaced him with a double, who ended up hurting his fiancée Jada so much she sought solace in the arms of Shawn!

JJ (Casey Moss) wants to know where Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was during the time her brother EJ was shot. Kristen also has a lot of motivation to want to kill her brother, since he made her mother, Rachel, disappear soon after Kristen finally got her back in her life.

If JJ thinks it's going to be that easy to get Kristen to confess to the crime, he has another thing coming. She was raised by Stefano, after all, so she knows a thing or two about getting away with something — if she is indeed guilty.

Javi (Al Calderon) is worried about how his cousin Rafe is doing. Learning about Jada sleeping with Shawn is a tough blow that Rafe hasn't been handling well. But how far would Rafe go to seek revenge against the man he blames for stealing and ruining his life?
