Burton and wife Sheree have three kids: Makena, Jack and Brooklyn.

Burton won the 1998 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for playing Jason on GH. He won in the same category in 2017 for playing Dylan on Y&R.

His first regular TV role was on the 1987-1991 sitcom OUT OF THIS WORLD, and he made his daytime debut in 1988 on DAYS as Harris Michaels, who dated Eve.

Burton is a partner in a restaurant, Jack and Jameson’s Smokehouse, with former GH co-star Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky) in Nashville.
