Y&R’s Bell Lands Two Lifetime Movies
Lauralee Bell (Christine, Y&R) will star in two upcoming Lifetime movies, RUBY and PEARL IN THE MIST, which are the first installments of V.C. Andrews’s Landry Family movie series. Bell will portray Daphne Dumas, a strong-willed matriarch, who isn’t happy when her perfect family is disrupted by the arrival of an estranged family member. “I read the scripts and I was hooked, this is such a wonderful introduction for those who haven’t already read the books and I am looking forward to portraying such a manipulative character,” says the actress. For these projects, Bell will reunite with Reel One Entertainment after starring as the lead in their LMN films, NIGHTMARE TENANTin 2019, where she also served as executive producer, and 2018’s MISTRESS HUNTER. Bell also previously starred in Lifetime’s PAST SINS.
