Young And Restless Star Conner Floyd (Chance) Engaged!
The holiday season just got a lot more memorable for Young and Restless star Conner Floyd (Chance). He and his longtime love, Carly Frei, are engaged to be married!
Much To Celebrate
The happy couple jointly announced the exciting news on December 22 on Instagram. Alongside a shot of a beaming Floyd’s face being caressed by Friel’s hand, her stunning engagement ring in full view, Frei wrote the caption, “YES.”
The lovebirds have been dating for three-and-a-half years, and on the occasion of their third anniversary in June, Frei declared on Instagram, “The best 3 years of my life🫶🏻I love you!!!! @connergfloyd.”
It’s safe to guess that Frei’s sense of humor is part of what attracted Floyd to his future bride. In 2023, when Soap Opera Digest named Floyd as one of the sexiest stars on soaps, the actor shared what quality he found most sexy in a woman, noting, “A sense of humor always gets me. I feel like I’m kind of a stone wall, so it really takes a lot to make me laugh. If you can do that, I’m impressed.” Travel is also a shared passion for the couple; on social media, they’ve shared images of their trips to such gorgeous locales as Paris, Italy and Mexico; the Mexico trip was to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and Frei shared on Instagram, “Fun fact: we met on Valentine’s Day💞.”
Floyd elaborated about his relationship status to Digest in 2022 that Frei is “a super-smart, super-sweet girl who has her own spray tan company. I met her on Valentine’s Day a couple of years ago through a mutual friend. We crossed paths at the right time and just clicked.” He also complimented Friel by saying, “She’s a needle in a haystack.”
On Instagram, several of the actor’s Y&R co-stars quickly shared their well wishes for Floyd and Frei. “Amazing!!! Congratulation!!!” wrote Michelle Stafford (Phyllis). Offered Jason Thompson (Billy), “Beautiful. Congratulations.” “Amazing news! Congratulations ❤️,” enthused Paxton Mishkind (Johnny). “Woo!! Congratulations!!” echoed Michael Mealor (Kyle). “Congrats you two!!” chimed in Mark Grossman (Adam). Floyd’s recent Genoa City love interest, Allison Lanier (Summer), wrote, “Ahhhh!!! 💗💗💗💗.” Melissa Ordway (Abby), whose character used to be married to Floyd’s and who once gushed to Digest that Floyd “has the sweetest, prettiest girlfriend ever, Carly, so I like to hear about her,” said, “YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ❤️.” Bryton James (Devon) let his emojis do the talking, typing, “🎉👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.” “Congrats!! ❤️” read Tracey E. Bregman’s (Lauren) comment. “😍 Congrats!!” contributed Courtney Hope (Sally). Rory Gibson (ex-Noah) wrote, “WOOOOH!! ❤️❤️❤️.”
