Veteran Soap Star Ashley Jones Joins The Locher Room
On Tuesday, December 3 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, actress/writer/director/producer Ashley Jones will join Alan Locher for a livestream conversation in The Locher Room.
Best known to daytime audiences for her role as Dr. Bridget Forrester on Bold and Beautiful and to True Blood fans for her portrayal of Daphne on the HBO series, Jones’s career has spanned numerous Lifetime movies, Young and Restless, General Hospital and a current stint as Ellen on Apple TV’s In Flight.
Memory Lane
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Jones was raised in Houston, Texas, where she began appearing in community theater and attended the Houston High School for Performing Arts. At age 15, she nabbed the part of Ingrid, Chad Allen’s girlfriend, on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. She landed her first contract role in 1997 when she was cast as Megan Dennison on Young and Restless, a gig that lasted through 2000 with a return appearance in 2001.
She resurfaced in the soap world again when she took over the role of Bridget, Brooke and Eric’s daughter, on B&B from 2004 to 2010. She returned to the show the following year for a guest stint that wrapped in 2012, and popped back up again in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2022, 2022, 2023 and, most recently, in September of this year. For her work as Bridget, Jones was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2024 in the Outstanding Guest Performer category.
The actress also appeared on GH from 2016-17 in the role of Parker Forsyth, a college professor who embarked on an ultimately doomed romantic relationship with her student, Kristina Corinthos-Davis.
Jones, who’ll be resurfacing on B&B for the soap’s annual Christmas celebration this month, also has other projects on the horizon in 2025. She is also plenty busy off camera as a single mom to her beloved son, who turned 8 years old this past May.
