What superpower would you love to possess? “I would like to have acute hearing. I think that would be great. It’s kind of clan- destine, isn’t it?”

What food do you wish was calorie-free? “Mashed potatoes.”
What’s the last show you binge-watched? “POLDARK on PBS. It was a beautiful show, just the kind of thing that [wife] Laurette and I love.”
If you won a million dollars, what’s the first thing you’d buy? “A new car, I guess. I’m driving a car that’s 15 years old, and I’m not complaining. I don’t care much about cars but it would be nice to buy a brand-new one and let Laurette have it.”
