Sweeney Tackles Obesity
Tonight at 8 p.m. on the Style Network, BIGGEST LOSER host Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS) hosts TOO FAT FOR 15: FIGHTING BACK. "Style approached me and asked if I'd be interested in being part of this town hall referendum on childhood obesity and what we can do about it," says the actress. "It's not just raising awareness about what a crisis it is, but talking about solutions, at the family level and the local community level and the national level. We need to start taking action. The statistics can make it seem so intimidating, but what I really appreciated, being part of producing it and hosting it, was the accessibility of the information and how important it is for us to share it."
