After Eric Braeden (Victor, Y&R) posted a shot of him and Doug Davidson (Paul) on the set of Y&R, signaling the latter’s return to the soap, Davidson took to Twitter to thank the fans for their support throughout the past year when he was on recurring status and rarely used. “Okay! So, the cat is out of the bag,” he posted. “NONE of any of this would happen without all of your undying loyalty, support and kindness. All of you are the reason Paul is back on the canvas. THANK YOU SO MUCH. @EBraeden has been incredible the entire time. A huge thanks to him as well!” Braeden added, I want to thank all of you for being so supportive of our show and DOUGIE DAVIDSON! Ratings have gone up as well! Without you, our friends and fans, none of the above would have happened! We are happy to have Tony Morina as EP & JOSH GRIFFITH AS HW! different vibe on set now.” Bravo’s Andy Cohen got in on the action, tweeting to Davidson, “So happy for you dude.” Greg Rikaart (Leo, DAYS; ex-Kevin, Y&R) posted, “So happy for you, Dougie, and glad that you’re back where you belong.” DAYS’s Eric Martsolf (Brady) chimed in, noting, “I love it when good things happen to good people.” And James Reynolds (Abe, DAYS) weighed in with, “@DougDavidsonYR I am so happy for you! You are a stalwart of the daytime drama community.” Look for Davidson to show up again in Genoa City on March 25.
