Peter Reckell On DAYS Run: “What a gift, what a ride”
May 3 marked 35 years since Peter Reckell’s debut as DAYS’s Bo, and Creative Consultant Sheri Anderson, who was head writer at the time, marked the occasion on Twitter. “Happy anniversary to half of one the most iconic super couples in daytime!” she posted. “Yes, I wrote their wedding and cried all way through the taping. Both as a couple, and individually, @peterreckell was one of my favorite characters and actors I’ve ever worked with.” Reckell responded, tweeting, “Thanks for taking a chance on this pairing @sheriawriter !!! Bo and Hope would not have worked without the outstanding words on the page. Those where the DAYS!” He also added his own reflections on his run: “On this day, what seems like a lifetime ago, I realised I was the luckiest man on Earth! What a gift, what a ride ,it was amazing!” The actor was last seen in Salem in 2016, appearing to Hope in a dream.
