Inside Beyond The Gates: New Special Teases Upcoming Soap Drama

Next week, Kevin Frasier of Entertainment Tonight and Sheryl Underwood (formerly of The Talk, who appeared on Bold and Beautiful as Emmy) will be co-hosting a five-installment, half-hour series called Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood. The specials, airing in the soap’s future time-slot of 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, will take viewers behind the scenes of the groundbreaking new soap that premiers the following week on CBS.

The special, which was shot on location in Atlanta where the soap is shot, will preview the journey the cast and crew have taken to bring this new show to life. You will see snippets of the first table read, interviews with the cast from the set and other never-before-seen footage.

Episode One: Unveiling Fairmont Crest: The first episode in the series, according to a press release, “opens its doors to Fairmont Crest, a world rich with history, culture and secrets waiting to be uncovered.” The spotlight will be put on the cast that has been assembled for this show, as well as the creative minds behind the soap.

Episode Two: Creating the Cast: This episode will introduce the Dupree family at the heart of the show and will take viewers inside “inside the casting process that built the show’s powerhouse ensemble, with over 40 dynamic characters brought to life by an extraordinary lineup of talent.

Episode Three: Fashion and Flair: The third installment will explore the artistry behind the camera, highlighting the wardrobe, hair and makeup departments to see how all play a role in helping to define each character that lives in the world of Fairmont Crest — including, the press release shares, “a peek inside the wig cabinet housing more than 40 custom-designed wigs.”

Episode Four: A Day in the Life: Viewers will see how the show tackles shooting around 100 pages of script a day with a closer look at a typical production cycle, “from memorizing lines to delivering powerhouse performances under pressure.” More leading men and women in the cast will be introduced, and this episode will provide an inside look at what goes into filming love scenes.

Episode Five: Sneak Peek and Guest Stars: The final installment shares an exclusive first look at the premiere episode of the show, which will debut the following Monday, February 24. Also, get ready to hear about some of the exciting guest stars who will be visiting the fictional town of Fairmont Crest and to learn more about the past career achievements of its cast members.

CBS also announced that following each episode of Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood, the network will air classic episodes of B&B.

Monday, February 17: Eric and Ridge watch with excitement as the models walk through the crowd, showcasing their hard work and exquisite designs; the episode first aired on October 20, 2023.

Tuesday, February 18:: Forrester brings its signature glamour to the streets of Rome in this show, which first aired on June 21, 2023.

Wednesday, February 19: Originally airing on June 22, 2023, the Colosseum provides the backdrop for a turning point for Brooke and Ridge.

Thursday, February 20:  Brooke surprises Ridge with a romantic gesture; Liam confides in Wyatt about his trip to Rome; and Andrea Bocelli performs in this episode, which originally aired on June 26, 2023.

Friday, February 21: After Carter and Hope take control of Forrester Creations, he takes his seat in the CEO chair while Remy makes a game-changing decision, and Brooke snaps as Ridge attacks Hope in this episode, which first aired on December 12, 2024.
