GH Partners With Shriners Hospitals For Children
GH is once again partnering with Shriners Hospitals For Children for a story arc shining a light on the hospitals’ offerings. In 2015, Spencer was injured in a fire at Wyndemere, and recovered at Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston, and in 2016, Jake received orthopedic care from Shriners Hospital for Children after being injured in a car accident. The new story, which kicks off Tuesday, September 19, will focus on Shriners Hospitals For Children’s excellence in diagnosis and treatment for children’s scoliosis — and a free SpineScreen app developed by the hospital to help parents check their children’s spines for scoliosis simply by moving their phone along the child’s back, which is available on iTunes and Google. On screen, Charlotte’s young friend, played by Londyn Silzer (the real-life sister of Brooklyn Rae Silzer, Emma) will receive treatment for scoliosis at Shriners Hospitals for Children, and her warring bio parents, Lulu and Valentin, will bring Charlotte by for a visit.
