Seeking An Ally

For Tuesday, April 22 on General Hospital, spoilers tease that Trina confides in Curtis. She has been worried about her new man, Kai, taking a big risk with a surgery that he thinks can save his football career. Unfortunately, the one holding the strings is Congressman Drew Cain. Her father is also against Kai taking up Drew on his offer to pay for the surgery. Does he want Trina to talk him out of it? “Is that something you can do?” Curtis asks.

Diane thinks her best friend, Alexis, needs her daughter Kristina committed to keep her out of prison for causing Ric’s car crash. The two law partners are also worried about their new hire, Marco, being the son of Jenz Sidwell. So which situation has an emotional Alexis telling Diane, “The best option is leave it alone.”

Speaking of Kristina, Lucky gives her some tough love when she drops by Elizabeth’s house. Lucky has been there taking care of his ex-wife (whom he still loves) after the car accident she was in that Kristina caused. The guilt has been weighing on Kristina, and she’s ready to blow. “The only way I can free myself is to confess,” Kristina tells Lucky. Will he support that idea?

Now that the awkward situation between Willow and Carly is long over, Drew has time for Kai, who updates Drew on his big decision about his surgery. “You think it’s a good idea, then I’m in,” Kai tells Drew. But what will Drew want from the star athlete in return for paying for this risky surgery?

A Betrayal

Nina stops by Carly’s home, and the two talk about how they want to distance Willow and the grandchildren they share from Drew. “Are we in agreement on our plans?” Nina asks Carly. Meanwhile, teasers say that Carly betrays an ally. Is that Nina?

Having no idea what her mother is up to, Willow seeks help from Jason. Her new live-in lover’s twin stops by and the two have a heart-to-heart chat. Jason has no love for his twin, Drew, but he does adore Willow’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Michael. “You need to face him and end this war once and for all,” Jason advises. Does this mean Willow will seek out Michael?

Ava, wearing a fur coat and fresh off the first installment of blackmail money paid by Alexis, walks into a room and declares, “Ava Jerome is back.”
