For Friday, January 31 on General Hospital, spoilers tease that Brook Lynn seeks out Cody while Brad makes an outrageous request. But that’s not all. Laura meets up with Lulu and she’s made an observation about her daughter and also gives Lulu food for thought. “You’re still in love with Dante,” she points out. Lulu admitted as much to Maxie. Will she loop in her mother to her feelings as well?

Dante is still reeling from learning that Sam was murdered and when he find out something he doesn’t like, he confronts Anna. “I’m being locked out of Sam’s murder investigation,” he accuses. Will Anna be able to calm him down and point out that he is way too close to the victim to be included?

Elsewhere, Trina is trying to be there for Kai but now that he knows he can’t play football again (well, at least until he gets that second and third opinion Portia suggested), he’s not up for her trying to make him feel better. “You think you’re helping but you are not,” informs Kai.

Who’s Playing Who?

Curtis is at the Metro Court having a meal with someone and he boasts to that unseen person, “I am steps ahead.” Is he talking with Nina about their plan to outsmart Drew? If he’s intent on messing with the congressman, he’d better be a few steps ahead. Meanwhile at the gym, Drew tells someone, “That could not be more wrong.”

Ric and Ava look like they are sharing a meal, possibly at the Metro Court, but teasers say they make a plea. Is it for the chance to eat there again after the last time when both of their credit cards were declined? Talk inevitably turns to what happened when they saw each other last. “It’s as if that kiss never happened,” she tells her lawyer.

Ava is the topic of conversation between Kristina and Sonny, as the custody battle looms in the not-to-distant future. “Ava’s not going to win this case,” declares a confident Kristina.
