General Hospital Alum Bryan Craig Teams Up With Rap Legend Flavor Flav For New Movie

Comments

Daytime Emmy-winner Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos, General Hospital) has landed his latest post-Port Charles endeavor. As reported by Deadline, he has recently wrapped up work on the indie feature One in a Million, a faith-based project that shot in Dallas and boasts a diverse cast of recognizable names.

What’s Up, Doc?

According to its IMDb page, One in a Million is based on a true story and chronicles the race to save the life of a young male, Jade Kassis, who was diagnosed with a potentially fatal blood disorder called HLH and the impact of his illness on Jade’s family. Craig is set to play the role of Dr. Houle, one of the physicians charged with managing Jade’s perilous condition.

Twilight alum Ashley Greene is among the stars of the film, along with Seinfeld‘s Wayne Knight, Empire grad Grace Byers (ex-Anika), Lou Diamind Phillips (Stand and Deliver) and rap superstar/reality TV pioneer Flavor Flav.

Craig burst onto the daytime scene back in 2013, when GH cast him as Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) tempestuous son. He took home the trophy for Outstanding Younger Actor in back-to-back years, 2016 (which is the year he exited the show and Morgan was presumed dead in a car explosion) and 2017. He has made several short-term returns to the show for ghostly visits, most recently in 2024, when Morgan appeared to a suicidal Sonny and stopped his father from harming himself. At the time, he told Soap Opera Digest that “it’s a really nice compliment” that GH still had him on its radar, noting, “I’m surprised that they haven’t recast the role in such a long time. I’m very grateful because I love working with Maurice and I love what we did towards the end of that run [when Morgan, like his father, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder]. It was so fun to be asked back and to be able to come back to further that storyline a little bit years later. I feel very privileged.”

Since he wrapped his first stint at GH, Craig has been seen in prime-time, with runs on shows like Grand Hotel and Good Trouble, and in movies such as Women is Losers, which was released on HBO Max in 2021.
