Exclusive! Y&R Alum Is B&B’s New Thomas
Matthew Atkinson (ex-Austin, Y&R) has joined the cast of B&B as the newest incarnation of Ridge and Taylor’s firstborn, Thomas Forrester, and will make his debut on March 14. “It was actually a long time coming,” reveals the actor, who takes over for Pierson Fodé, who last played the part in 2018. “I remember this role coming around a few years ago. When it came around this time, [having worked at Y&R], I knew everyone there. I had met Brad [Bell, executive producer/head writer] before, and I couldn’t say no … There’s something very comforting now about being back in the same building.” In the story, Thomas has been living in New York with Caroline and their son, Thomas.
