Editors Share What They’d Like To See In 2018
Tom Stacy, B&B
One of the things I love most about B&B are its moments: Liam wordlessly holds the paternity test in front of Steffy’s face; Bill’s panic realizing his son was still in the building he just demolished; and of course Sheila walking through the door at Katie’s last summer. Here’s to another great year of those most memorable, eye-popping, jaw-dropping, pulse-pounding moments, B&B!

Lee Meyer, DAYS
I’d like to see more of the great balance of stories in 2018 that we saw during the second half of 2017. Fun, wacky stuff like the introduction of Stefan O. DiMera, contrasted with serious, grounded storytelling like Theo’s shooting, really makes the show a joy to watch. I also want to see Will choose a man, Hope learn the truth about Rafe and Sami and a big story for Chloe.

Mara Levinsky, GH
Well, romance, romance and more romance — mixed with humor, family and well-crafted mysteries, of course! Some specifics: I would like to see Franco stop withholding from Liz that he pushed Drew down the stairs when they were toddlers. I would like to get a lot of insight into Sam’s emotional state as she navigates her relationships with Drew and Jason. I would like Parker and Kristina — and Hayden, with baby! — to come back to town. I would like to see plenty of life in the Quartermaine home, the continuation of this refreshing story for Dante and Lulu that does not involve babies, a worthy new man for Kiki if “Killon” is doomed, Nelle giving Carly headaches via the bun in her oven, sparkling bromance for Sonny and Jason as the unmask “the traitor”, plenty of opportunities for Anna to be a bad-ass, a next chapter for Julian and Alexis that brings happiness to long-suffering “Julexis” fans, and Lucas and Brad adopting that baby — on screen!

Devin Owens, Y&R
A relationship between Mariah and Tessa that’d be fully explored. These gals have great chemistry!
