Stephanie Sloane: I love holidays on the soaps, and really look forward to those episodes each year. I always get chills when the Hortons hang their ornaments on DAYS. Here, the editorial staff shares their favorite holiday moments. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Stella Bednarz: “Bianca was in a coma on ALL MY CHILDREN in 2004 when it was proven that Bess was really her infant, Miranda. Erica went into the hospital room with the babe and pleaded with Bianca to wake up. Lo and behold! Bianca opened her eyes and held Miranda. Sniff!”
Mara Levinsky: “ONE LIFE TO LIVE, 1994, town pariahs Blair and Todd are lonely at Christmastime and have what they think is going to be a one-night stand, agreeing, ‘No love.’ Little did they know, they’d wind up marrying umpteen times and having two kids.”
Lee Meyer: “Dillon and Georgie’s 2003 New Year’s Eve silent film episode on GH was one of the sweetest and warmest episodes I’ve seen on that show. Dillon’s ‘silent’ declarations of love were epic, and still make me smile.”
Devin Owens: “On Y&R in 1984, Amy, devastated over the murder of her boyfriend, Tyrone, attended church on Christmas Eve to mourn her loss. A monk sidled up to her and she was shocked, and thrilled, to see Tyrone under that hood!”
Tom Stacy: “I’ll always remember that KNOTS LANDING holiday episode which featured Michele Lee (ex-Karen) singing ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ over one of their trademark montages.”
