CBS Renews Its Entire Daytime Lineup

CBS, which has been the No. 1 network in daytime for 32 consecutive years, has renewed its entire daytime line-up, which includes B&B and Y&R, for the upcoming 2019-20 television season. “Our programming continues to maintain a level of achievement unheard of in today’s television landscape, thanks to the passion and dedication of the extraordinary producers, casts, staff and crew on the shows, our studio partners, and most importantly, the fans,” said Executive Vice President, CBS Daytime Programs and Syndicated Programs Development Angelica McDaniel  in a statement. “They have our deepest gratitude, and we look forward to entertaining them for many years to come.” Y&R has been the No. 1 rated daytime drama for over 32 consecutive years in its nearly 47 years on-air, and is averaging 4.60 million viewers so far this season. During the coming season, there will be many notable anniversaries. Among them, Eric Braeden (Victor) will celebrate 40 years on the show, Peter Bergman (Jack) 30 years, Joshua Morrow (Nicholas) and Sharon Case (Sharon) 25 years, and Bryton James (Devon) 15 years. B&B, which recently celebrated its 32nd anniversary, is averaging 3.61 million viewers.
