BRANDON BEEMER RETURNS TO DAYS TODAY
Brandon Beemer, who last aired as DAYS’s Shawn Brady in 2008, returns to Salem today. It’s a move that came as a surprise after Jason Cook (ex-Shawn) was tapped to come home for the 50th anniversary celebration. “Basically, I was done,” Beemer tells Digest. “I thought, ‘If Jason [is] back, it probably meant that he would be there for a while and that was that.’ I put it to rest.” So when DAYS came calling, "they asked if I had any interest in coming back and I said, ‘Sure!’ ” he recalls. “It was one of those things that caught me completely off-guard.” For more from the actor, check out the new issue of Digest, on stands now.
