Playing Checkers… or Chess?
The action in this Bold and Beautiful spoilers preview for the week of January 20 begins in the design room at Forrester Creations where Hope has paid a visit to Steffy. Steffy is back to try to get a foothold back in the company so she can steal it back from Hope and Carter. Hope is on guard, since she doesn’t trust that her longtime rival is there simply to keep an eye on her investment. Hope tells Steffy, “We might partner with Daphne Rose.” She says it like she’s sticking it to Steffy, not knowing that her former stepsister is the one who put the whole deal in motion — and not just to help Forrester Creations but to split up Hope and Carter.
The Nose Knows
The action then switches to the CEO’s office, where Carter has taken up residence. Daphne is there and he tells her, “Your work’s incredible.” The flirtatious woman sidles up closer to him, toying with his suit jacket and asks, “Incredible? Is that what you’re looking for, Carter Walton?
A Father-And-Son Moment
The next scene takes place at the home of Bill Spencer. His son Liam is back in action and he’s worried about his power-hungry father’s disappearing act from work. “I’m worried about you,” explains Liam as he looks at his father. Bill tells him, “Even Dollar Bill could use ‘me’ time.” As he says this, we see Luna lurking once again, listening to everything that is being said in the millionaire’s swanky mansion.
Confrontation Station
Jack is back and he’s in Li’s office — and so is Poppy. Li thinks that Jack is the father of Poppy’s daughter, Luna, and has already confronted her sister. Jack’s confused as he tells his ex-wife, “You’re not making any sense, Li.” The good doctor won’t hold back any longer and bluntly asks him, “Are you Luna’s father?” What will Jack say?
