Beyond The Gates Spoilers Promo: ‘The Other Half Of Your Family Just Blew Up’

The action in the Beyond the Gates spoilers preview video for the week of March 24 opens with Naomi at her grandparents’ home, sitting by their piano. This time, however, music is not on her mind. Anita offers advice about the incredible opportunity that has fallen into her lap. “That strength runs in your veins,” the matriarch of the Dupree family points out. But can Naomi really take on her powerful father in court?

Unfortunately for the attorney, not everyone is on board with her decision to represent the ladies who were fired from her father’s firm. Her father’s new wife, Hayley, the same woman who used to be her close friend until she slept with her father, wants to weigh in on things and tracked her former friend to the local hangout. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she asks as she slams her purse and sits down across from Naomi. The scene then switches back to Naomi’s grandparents’ home. “It’s in all Dupree women. We don’t back down from a challenge,” says Anita.

The Ties That Bind

Elsewhere, Martin and Smitty are having a serious conversation. “Think you’re underestimating them and how strong our family is to weather anything,” announces the congressman. Smitty doesn’t seem to have the same confidence. What is happening here? Does Martin mean their immediate family, or is this about the entire Dupree clan?

The action switches to a concerned Vernon who appears to be doing damage control. “This isn’t a request,” he says into the phone at his ear. He appears determined to ensure his words are taken seriously. “We’ll see you as soon as you get here,” he tells the unseen person.

Naomi seeks someone else’s counsel — her detective husband and Jacob certainly has his own take on the situation. “Some secrets deserve to be brought out into the light,” he tells his lawyer wife.

Naomi decides it’s time to pay a visit to her father. Does she tell him about the suit being filed against his firm for sexual harassment? The two are interrupted by a colleague of his. “Tomas, I’m in the middle of something here,” snaps Bill, but Tomas won’t be deterred. “Sorry, Bill, this can’t wait,” he says before shooting a look at Naomi.

Chelsea is talking with her cousin when Kat drops a bomb on her and says, “The other half of your family just blew up.” Chelsea sighs as she rolls her eyes, obviously used to the drama.
